Youth Camp

Information

           It's that time again to make your plans to attend the eleventh annual "This is That" youth camp hosted by the Gospel Tabernacle. We were able to secure the campground at Lake Benson near Dixon, Tennessee from Tuesday, July 19th through friday, July 22nd. This year, we're in for a new treat with guest speaker Bro. Andrew Romine from Indianaplois, Indiana. Bro. Romine is the former yourth pastor for Indiana Bible College. He will be ministering to us each night, and will accompanied by his wife. The night services are open to the public, and churches are welcome to attend and worship with us.

Youth ages 10-20 will have an awesome opportunity to participate in exciting activites and make lots of new friends, but most importantly to grow spiritually as they worship with a large group of campers. Afternoon activities will include basketball, softball, volleyball, and kickball, as well as a special day set aside for field day events. Please come prepared to participate in a lot of friendly competition!

Lake Benson had an increase in their fee for use of their campground this year. Therefore, it is necessary to increase our registration fee to offset a portion of this extra expense. We are thankful that we had been able to maintain the registration fee at $70 for several years. Hopefully, the new rate of $75 per application will cover most of the extra cost without being a heavy burden on anyone.

          Sign In at camp is from 10:30 until 11:30 on Tuesday morning.  The $75.00 registration fee covers a dormitory bed and bath area, 2 meals on Tuesday, 3 meals on Wednesday and Thursday, and 1 meal on Friday.  Concessions will be offered in the afternoons, after night services each evening, and at the end of camp at a nominal fee.  Camp will be dismissed after the morning service on Friday around noon.  

          The deadline for registration is July 10, 2011.  The $75.00 registration fee must be included with all applications. Applications submitted without the registration fee will not be entered until fee is received to make sure dorms are offered on first come first served basis. Thank you for your consideration.
